Dermal Fillers & Biostimulators in Aurora, CO
Dermal Filler Treatments
Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. As we age, we lose some of the supporting structures, like bone, fat pads, and collagen, leading to loose or wrinkling skin, descent or absence of facial features, and prominence of hollows.
How do we use Dermal Filler treatments to restore volume?

Dermal fillers can be used to restore some of this lost volume and structure, or, can be used to enhance existing features to create harmony and balance of the face. This allows for a lifted, hydrated, and more youthful appearance.
How long do Dermal Fillers last?

HA filler typically lasts 12-18 months depending on the treatment area and product.

If you have an upcoming special or social event, it is recommended to have treatment no later than 4 weeks before the event to allow for bruising and swelling to resolve.

Radiesse + Sculptra in Aurora, CO
Biostimulators are made of either a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA, Radiesse) or poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA, Sculptra). As we age, we lose about 1% of our collagen matrix per year, with an estimated loss of 25% by age 45.
A biostimulator is used by mixing it with water and injecting the product into areas where more support and/or volume is desired, such as areas of hollowing. The water is absorbed by the body over 2-3 days, with the filler matrix remaining behind where a strong network of collagen fibers is stimulated, restoring volume and softening wrinkles and folds.

How long do biostimulator treatments last?

Results typically take effect at around 3-4 months post-treatment, with maximum results after about 6 months. Most patients will require multiple treatments for maximum benefit, typically 4 weeks apart until the appropriate amount of product is used. Then return once yearly for maintenance.
Results typically last about 24 months

Should I get Radiesse or Sculptra?
Radiesse offers immediate volume and lifting effects, making it ideal for those seeking quick results, while also stimulating collagen for lasting improvements. In contrast, Sculptra gradually restores volume by stimulating collagen production over time, resulting in subtle, long-lasting enhancements.
